I think being an art major in college influenced my photography by giving me a  tendency to see things in a graphic art/painting style. I  don’t have a favorite subject but I seem to take lot of pictures of doors, seascapes, boats, trees and flowers, as well as macros and abstract graphic design. Anything can catch my eye, and my passion is trying to point out something unusual, something that might be overlooked, capturing a moment, a  mood, a feeling.

I share my life with my husband, Bob, our cat,  Bella, our high-energy little rat terrier, Cooper, and Putter, a strange but lovable cockatiel. We lost our Mocha, Bella’s brother, to blood poisoning from  ingesting ivy. We miss him. Sharing the world  peacefully with our animal friends and taking good care of our planet is my hope  and dream for humanity. Some of my favorite websites are:

I love music  above all things, but unfortunately my musical abilities are limited . . . so I  try to create art that reflects the beauty of the music I love. My favorite place to be is “in the music” and I love to paint that place, or photograph little pieces of heaven on earth. I love all music; rock, fusion & world jazz and progressive rock especially. Yes, Led Zeppelin, Marc Bolan, Annie Lennox, and Coldplay are my favorites.
